On September 5th, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held the "1st K Connectors Performance Presentation and Completion Ceremony" at the International Conference Hall in Inha University's Jeongseok Academic Information Center.
A total of 51 people, including Lee Jean Young, head of the Inha Center for International Studies(ICIS) and researchers from ICIS, participated in the event. It was designed to share the achievements of the teams that have been running individual projects for about four months with the aim of "spreading Korean studies" and to evaluate their contribution to the spread of Korean studies based on quantitative and qualitative indicators. Those operating this event said it hopes that K-Connectors will establish itself as a good precedent for the younger generation toward the spread of Korean studies by sharing excellent examples through this event.
The event was held through the "exhibition type," which displays each team's performance in a poster type, the PPT, and the "operation result presentation type," which shares outcomes based on the final report. Excellent teams and outstanding activists selected at the same day's event will participate as a part of the "Visit to Waseda University in Japan" scheduled for November 14th and also prepare for the presentation of K-Connectors activity reports altogether.
The "0123" team, which carried out the "Inha Global Gathering" and published "Echo (Korean Studies Newsletter), was selected as an excellent team, and awards were given to Jung Da Hyun (Department of Social Welfare, 4th grade) and Lee Chae Yeon (Department of Political Science and Diplomacy, 4th grade) as excellent activists.
ICIS will continue to take the lead in the spread of Korean studies with the younger generation, starting with the "K-Connectors 1st."
