The K-Connectors, operated by the Korean Studies Dissemination Research Center at Inha University's Institute of International Relations, aim to spread Korean studies through various activities as a public diplomacy group. Among the ten active teams, the 'KTC (Korea to Connect)' team carried out a project in August to promote Incheon. The project targeted foreign tourists visiting Seoul and was conducted in the Myeongdong area.

Team leader Lee Chaeyeon (majoring in Political Science and International Relationship,) pointed out that Korea's essence is not limited to Seoul. She argued that focusing only on Seoul in promotions deprives foreign tourists of the opportunity to experience diverse cultures and wastes Incheon's tourism potential. Lee also mentioned the shortcomings of existing brochures, which often lack sufficient explanations in foreign languages compared to Korean.

To address these issues, the KTC team created and distributed their own tourism guidebook. The front side of the guide featured a map of Incheon with important tourist spots marked using pictograms. The back side provided explanations on the history, culture, background, and origins of six selected tourist sites in Incheon.

The KTC team reported that they distributed the Incheon tourist maps and provided explanations to over 100 foreign tourists while conducting the Incheon promotion project directly in Myeongdong.

Foreign participants in the project mentioned that they were able to grasp the significant historical and cultural context of Incheon in a short period and expressed increased interest in visiting Incheon.
